Very simple Tomato pickle Prep-Time:2-3 min Serves:6


1.   Cut 6 tomatoes and 7 green chillies in half.
2.   On low flame add 1/2 teaspoon of oil, add tomatoes and green chillies and one small cup of water, cover it and let it boil until they are fully cooked.
3.   For Tadka: Add mustard, Urad Dal/Black Gram, Dry red chillies(3 medium sized),let it cool .After sometime add the tomato mixture to blender, add  salt, turmeric, tadka and blend it roughly .{If you want nutty texture add tadka after blending}


Tip:  This is a chutney/pickle which can be stored for longer time if refrigerated
