Breakfast Bars or Granola bars Serves:10-12
Ingredients:
1)Rolled oats-2 cups(your choice)
2)Rice Krispies-2 cups
3)Shredded Coconut-1/2 cup(use unsweetened if you are on diet)
4)Roasted Almonds,Pistachio,Groundnuts-1/2 cup{you can use any nuts like walnuts and roasted hazelnuts also}

5){OPTIONAL}Chia seeds-1 1/2 teaspoon
6)Salt-according to taste {tiny pinch would help balance out the flavor}
7){OPTIONAL}Oil or Butter-2 tablespoons(i use almond butter)
8)Honey-1/4 cup{according to taste}
9)Vanilla-2 teaspoons{you can use extract also}
10)Cranberries or Raspberries or Blueberries(if fresh-1 cup or if canned Blueberries-3/4 cup)
11)Condensed milk or water-1 1/2 spoon
12)Raisins 1/4 cup
6)Salt-according to taste {tiny pinch would help balance out the flavor}
7){OPTIONAL}Oil or Butter-2 tablespoons(i use almond butter)
8)Honey-1/4 cup{according to taste}
9)Vanilla-2 teaspoons{you can use extract also}
10)Cranberries or Raspberries or Blueberries(if fresh-1 cup or if canned Blueberries-3/4 cup)
11)Condensed milk or water-1 1/2 spoon
12)Raisins 1/4 cup
13)Sugar-2 cups(powdered or brown)
Preheat oven to 180 C for 5-8 min
Makes approx.,20-25 Bars
Preparation:
1)Add everything in a bowl with wooden spoon(mixture will not stick to the spoon).
2)Transfer half of the mixture on a baking tray with parchment paper into the preheated oven for 5-10 min and other half in a rectangular pan with parchment paper into the freezer overnight.
3)Keep checking the oven so that the mixture doesn't burn if you feel mixture is dry or burning on top or sides brush some oil or almond butter to those areas.
4)After 10 min switch of the oven and let it cool in the oven for 10 min or until mixture is cooled{mixture should be just warm so that we can cut our yummy Granola Bars easily}.
5)Coat the Granola Bars with some powdered white sugar and shredded fresh coconut. { we can also skip and add semi sweetened chocolate chips or butterscotch chips too}
6)The following day remove the Granola mixture from the fridge and invert it on a cooling tray and peel off the parchment paper from top.
7)Drizzle or pour the sweetened chocolate syrup or on a double boiler prepare chocolate mixture with rice krispies let it cool for 5 min or place it back blast chiller or freezer for 5 min.
8)Remove the Chocolate coated Granola bar mixture from the freezer and cut into desired shapes and sizes.You can store them in a airtight container.
