Very simple Tomato pickle Prep-Time:2-3 min Serves:6

1.    Cut 6 tomatoes and 7 green chillies in half. 2.    On low flame add 1/2 teaspoon of oil, add tomatoes and green chillies and one small cup of water, cover it and let it boil until they are fully cooked . 3.    For Tadka : Add mustard, Urad Dal/Black Gram, Dry red chillies(3 medium sized),let it cool .After sometime add the tomato mixture to blender, add  salt, turmeric, tadka and blend it roughly .{If you want nutty texture add tadka after blending} Tip :   This is a chutney/pickle which can be stored for longer time if refrigerated                                              **THE TASTE RULES THE BELLY   **

QUINOA or RICE RAWA ( Lemon Rice Hyderabadi Andhra style) Rice rawa Pulihara Prep-Time:8-10 min Serves:4

1) Heat a pan with oil(1 teaspoon) on medium flame , add mustard, Toor Dal, Urad Dal, Peanuts, Dry red chillies(2 medium sized),  when they begin to crackle, add curry leaves(optional) and mix till they turn crisp. 2) Add onions or shallots, fry (if you want them to be crispy or simply leave them for 8 sec and proceed to the next step) till the onions turn transparent. 3) Add green chillies, fry them for 15-20 sec. 4) Add salt, turmeric powder and mix them. 5) Add 4 cups of water and cover it when water begins to boil, add 2 cups of rice rava or quinoa (or just grind any rice coarsely) mix them once and cover it. 6) Leave it on low flame for 6-9 min (do not mix them in between otherwise it won't be fluffy). 7) Once done mix everything once and switch off gas & leave it uncovered for 1 min.                                             ...

Andhra Style Hyderabadi Biryani Prep-Time:15-20 min Serves:6-8

1 ) Cooked rice-1 cup [Any rice can be used, if you are on diet use quinoa].  2) Any vegetables diced-1 cup [I used onions/shallots, bell peppers {Red, Green, Yellow (just to make it more presentable)}, spring onion, carrots, parboiled beans, potatoes (use less potatoes as it contains starch), cauliflower, corn]. 3)Oil, Salt, Turmeric, Garam masala[optional: If you cannot handle spice],Asafetida[ While on its own, the smell may strike you as overpowering and somewhat unpleasant, in cooking it mellows out and produces a flavor similar to onion and garlic ],curry leaves, pudina leaves. 1)cut okra in medium size pieces(1kg) and slit green chillies(5-8 medium sized) in half/roughly crush(depends on personal taste)  2) Heat a pan with oil(optional) on medium flame , add mustard,Toor Dal,Urad Dal/Black Gram, Dry red chillies(2 medium sized), when they begin to crackle, add curry leaves(optional) and fry till they turn crisp. 3)Add onions or shallots(optional),f ry till the onions turn transparent[onions can be diced square shape or dice them or slices(but not too thin)] 4)Add green chillies,fry them for 15-20 sec  5)Add OKRA,salt,turmeric powder,(Tamarind water can also be added only 1-3 Tbsp) cover it,on LOW flame let this cook for atleast 8-10 min 6)* Very important * " Admire the end result before enjoying THIS VERY EASY RECIPE "
